When my nephew died unexpectantly, a friend of my sisters recommended Balboa Cremations. I can't express fully how fantastic they all were during this difficult time. They were easy to reach, communicative, and very empathetic. Jennifer took my numerous calls and was very understanding when complications with family took place. I would *highly* recommend.

My brother lived, and died, in La Jolla and I found myself trying to find out what to do from the UK. I was recommended Balboa Cremations by the hospital’s department of decedent affairs and I am so glad I acted on that. Jennifer has been absolutely wonderful in helping me through the whole process and made it a lot easier than I feared. Because my brother had family and friends in 2 countries we decided to have his ashes put into 2 containers so that I could bring one back to England. It was really straightforward and Jennifer was happy to facilitate this. I can unreservedly recommend Balboa Cremations for their compassion and efficiency at such a difficult time.

When my husband passed away unexpectedly I checked online reviews for cremation services and selected Balboa Cremation Services because of the positive reviews. I expressed my needs to Jennifer over the phone, she quoted me prices and we set an appointment for later that day to complete the arrangements. I could also have handled all the arrangements electronically. Jennifer communicated clearly about the process and timing of removal of his body, obtaining the death certificate and the cremation. She professionally and compassionately kept me informed of progress throughout the process. I strongly recommend Balboa Cremation Services for their outstanding service and thank them from the bottom of my heart for making this process so easy during a difficult time.

The owner, Randy, and Jennifer could not have been more compassionate, kind and helpful. As heart breaking as losing our mother was, they made us feel comfortable and guided us thru the process. We had to call several times with questions that came up and they were always very patient and treated us so nicely. They are very organized. I highly recommend Balboa Cremation Services.

The Owner, Randy along with Jennifer, made this devastating and heart wrenching process as nice as can be done, given the circumstances. They were kind, informative, compassionate and very helpful. They are well organized and kept the time lines promised. They even went the extra mile for us when requested (getting certificates mailed). I would highly recommend Balboa Cremation Services to anyone in need.

Balboa Cremation Services provided excellent service. We had to make arrangements over the phone since we did not live in the area (we were 4 counties away). Both myself and brother spoke with the owner and he was very kind to spend time to answer all of our questions. He and his staff were respectful during this very difficult time for our family. We would highly recommend their services.

I am so glad our family picked Balboa Cremation Services to help us with the unexpected passing of a family member. I have never gone through anything like this before, and it initially felt overwhelming to figure out cremation services in the midst of mourning. Fortunately, we found Balboa Cremation Services, and working with them made a big (positive) difference. Throughout the whole process, they were incredibly warm, helpful, understanding, highly responsive, and professional. They handled multiple last minute requests with grace and kindness. Highly recommend.

Randy is amazing. He and his staff are super caring, professional, patient, and gracious. They exceeded our expectations and made this very delicate and sensitive period in our lives as pleasant and smooth a process as we could hope for. I will only recommend Balboa Cremation Services and no other if and when the occasion for their services may occur again. The price was very reasonable and I appreciated the prompt attention to my questions and the ability to complete the entire transaction online.
