San Francisco is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. Getting around San Francisco is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across California's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Catholic Church in downtown SF I think in the SoMa area, right across the metreon. I’ve been to Mass here a couple of times, especially during the SF marathon weekend because of its location by the hotels. I’ve gone on a Sunday morning as well as a Saturday afternoon. Beautiful church, they have a gift shop, very welcoming. Not sure if they have a parking lot but there isn’t any street parking out front. Perfect while you’re in the area or on vacation. I attended the Sunday afternoon Mass at 5:15pm, glad there is a later option in the day to attend.

I love it here. They leave the church open during the day, so I come here to pray a few days a week in silence and it's helped me in more ways than I can count.

Beautiful old church, went to mass for Ascension. Very welcoming, we were honored to be asked to present the gifts. Overall just fantastic place and mass. Loved the African priest here. I dont know if I ever will be back in SF but if I return I will definitely try to come back here.

I had a wonderful experience at Mass this January while in SF. Father Spyrow was incredibly welcoming, he noticed I was visiting and went out of his way to introduce himself

Beautiful church! I come to 12:10pm mass when I can, and it's such a peaceful respite in the day! Grateful for the opportunity to take a few minutes with God during the workday 🩷

Beautiful mass. Be a tree planted near water and trust only in God and not humans.

I recently visited St. Patrick's Church in San Francisco, and it was a lovely experience. The Gothic Revival architecture is truly stunning, especially the vibrant stained-glass windows that bring the interior to life. The church offers a peaceful respite from the city's hustle and bustle, making it a perfect place for quiet reflection. The service I attended was meaningful, though a bit longer than expected. Overall, it's a beautiful, serene spot worth visiting, especially if you appreciate historic architecture and spiritual spaces.

Gorgeous church!! Full of rich history. So happy they had a Noon Mass on a Saturday. Well attended too. It was Blessed Mother’s special day and they had roses we could offer to her. Mass was very nice. Thank you all for your ministry to the tourists and residents of San Francisco. God bless.
